How to Hover, Torque Roll, and Harrier a Plane on RealFlight 7.5

hello people YouTube this is try six through six and once again I’m gonna make another how-to video for you guys those who don’t know how and so what I’m going to do here is that’s been requested a while ago and I just gotta somehow the people doesn’t want it it has then won the video so I went ahead and I’m going to make it now so do positive those people that uh as before that I haven’t made of and you know title things as some may know okay so I’m going to this is going to be a hover to Twitter video I’m going to show you guys how to UM do some hovers some torque roles and maybe a little bit of movies even some some Harriers so yep that’s what I’m going to do with this video here right now I’m gonna fly with this um this slick flat forty there’s 126 inch slick 540 I downloaded from swat pages it’s basically a big giant baby just floats in it it’s um need a little bit of tweaking to do you know these little tweaking but it does handle hovers really really well because if it’s a large wingspan so I’m going to do a little bit of that with this thing here and then um I’m also going to do a in aircraft that’s on the simulator for those who don’t know how to download or don’t want to download aircraft from the Swat pages I understand if you guys are worried about positive viruses like that just looking at notice what it is it’s very secure but if you guys are still not too sure about that and you want to fly just the aircraft’s there on simulator I completely understand that so I’ll show you guys on any other plane that’s going to be fairly good to hover and a good good Ginter plane for hovering so alright I’m going to begin with this plane right here okay so what you’re going to do this one right here is a very very large plane it floats really really well and it’s so much easy to hover because there’s a large Mew screen so for those starting off bigger is better our finger is going to be more it’s going to it’s going to it’s going to base to stay in the air longer it’s not going as twitchy so that’s that’s anything real life as well alright so I’m going to fly this plane here and then I’ll show you pile another one in the simulator so I usually fly on high rate Westland high res period but I recommend flying on high rates because you get better control it is more sensitive but you will get better at a response better control out of the aircraft okay so first thing you want to do is knocking a little harder straight away and you can do that but I’ll recommend you always want to try to get into a hover by doing something off line so what I do is just fly around for a little bit are uncommon in and I’m going to pull on the stick and I’m going to do it using them explain of how I’m into that position but what I’m gonna do here is I’m gonna slow down light my throttle then I want to pull up and then give it some throttle now when you do that your plane wants to turn to the left towards the right because of the torque of the engine so you’re going to immediately want to put a little bit of left aileron and left rudder so right now the torque of the engine wants to turn the plane clockwise but I want I want to keep it and I and I want to keep it straight so I’m going to have to put some right elevator um outline to keep it in that straight position and to prevent it from going counterclockwise so that’s done to the torque of the engine so that’s something that you’re going to have to you know work with it’s always easier to have the plane in this position versus you know letting the plane do its own thing because every time the plane turns around your controllers are changing so alright so when you’re in this position you know I’ll explain a little more about when you’re gonna get getting into the hover but once you’re in the harbor it’s basically very small movements now you want a large scale plane like this because your movements are going to be very slow and that’s what you want you don’t want anything that’s going to twist that requires a lot of input you wasn’t this large like this word doesn’t really require that much input and is there you have a lot of calumny engines was very very stable and you don’t need like they have full throttle or anything to keep it in the air this plane right here is a perfect example for covers and for anything like that so we’re not doing here is I’m putting some right elbow on to keep this plane straight so it so the top of the plane is facing towards me that’s where you’re all your controls are going to be like if it was on a four positioned like go on away from your where all your controls are not backwards but it’s vertical so I had this plane like this I’m putting a little you see everyone so I’m like becoming a little bit of a lot that right there is not too hard to keep that on that plane straight now throttle I’m anywhere between the fifth I’m going between 50 to 60% everyone so all jugged

around 70 to 75% throttle that’s just to keep this plane straight now if I try to smooth it out and keep it at a right there I’m about 63 percent or so I’m not sure I’m not mind yeah I’m not on my DX 18 radio we’re talking percentage among elm on the actual interlink radio right now so it doesn’t exactly tell me but I’m guessing you’re between the 60 to 65 range so right there this is a very well controlled hover very stable or is there a plane so now every once in a while a lot of people will though you look in the rhythm and they’ll fluctuate with over there elevator like this I do this a lot with 1200 in our own Harriers it just keeps me in the rhythm so if you guys were wondering why people do this it just helps you get you know keep your keep your fingers busy and get you in the rhythm at least that’s what it does for me so now what I’m doing is and it’s a little tricky to do it is your elevator because now the plane is vertical it’s hard to tell exactly if the plane is going forward or backwards so it’s very hard to keep you tell which direction it’s going a good way to tell is to have the playing sideways so and maybe in this position right here because then you can see the pitch of the plane a lot better see you got to see a lot better so you know I recommend trying to get very close to the side of you but not too close where you know things get a little little crazy there like that or you start losing a little bit I’m still learning how to do sideways and backwards but you know so you wouldn’t want to go in that position because you miss you lose your orientation others are probably one of the most fun and probably after watching master is one of the easiest maneuvers to do when it comes to 3d maneuvers you definitely don’t want you definitely like hovering because it overall just a lot of fun because you never see a marshal playing vertical so yeah so once you know the other ones are going to be piling your easiest things you’re out of control that’s another big key if you always want to keep very smooth and throttle you want to keep very smooth on all your controls no big inputs like this because your planes are going to your plane it’s going to be all over the place and you’re going to lose control you want to be very smooth the controls would be very very smooth you at the other one even though I go a jerk a little bit keep it going I’ve been doing this for a while so I can I can I can move around I think I can get out of this magnitudes position of these positions stuff so you want to be very smooth with a lot if it’s going to like this okay don’t you’re on it just be very smooth with it and try to slowly bring it back okay so your line is going to be a little tricky – I mean little pie the easiest thing to get right to keep it stable your throttle control is going to be your next step now your next thing you know of course as well and then your elevator is probably going to be your your third thing so your elevators will be controlling the pitch forward and backwards of plane they’re not going to be trolling the stability of ours well like everyone’s always do left and right so and their throttle is same thing a throttle so it keeps it in the air listen up a little busier sorry guys so your next thing is going to be your rudder and that’s going to be the best the hardest thing at least for me the learner on a hover your rudder is going to keep it from banking left and banking right and you’re going to keep it stable your rudder is a very big key and I actually move the rudder probably more than any of my other component of the control surfaces so the rudder is very probably most sensitive it because don’t do any rudder whatsoever you can see that the plane wants to tilt over and now what I’m doing is I’m AC basically using the aileron and elevator to turn the plane to get me back in that position so without rudder it’s it’s hard to hover so I mean I’m see right now wants to think over so I’m going to have to turn the plane and pull back to get keep that thing and that hover is extremely challenging so your rudder your biggest key so just like it where it does you know left rudder is gonna go into left right rudder Thank You main is going to bring to the right so that’s something that you’re gonna have to really work on quite a bit and again very small movements put my radio guys you don’t see me jerking around the sticks right there you did but right now I’m going to steady hover I’m barely putting any movements no just like yellow on how I’m using a lot of light Ella run keep it stable also using a lot of left rudder to keep the pitch the plane vertical the plane is going to want also tilt towards the right so you want a little bit more left I’m always having a little bit left rudder alright so that’s that’s basically how the keeping the same amount now let’s go on to a torque roll now torque roll is another cover maneuver that basically you allowing the engine to torque of the

engine to turn the plane sideways this is something that’s really challenging I’m still learning myself so you still want you through our control this time you’ve eliminated Ella Ron’s completely this is where it is challenging because now you’re real you’re just relying on your throttle control power on and I mean your elevator and rudder so just your your help you run on your throttle is going to be your basic procedure you know start falling put a little oil start doing high you let go throttle very simple but now you got to use your rudder and your elevator to control the plane you keep it stable even win your controls are backwards that’s where it gets challenging guys so and you got to keep that motion going so like I said like I’ve said back here when you’re in a more power like this so you know when you when you weak when you top the planes facing you you got your left left right the right forward is further way back is close to you and I run out of a few right there so all right that was that stuff I ran out of fuel alright so there we go so kinda like a helicopter this is almost like a helicopter almost when you’re in this position because a helicopter you know it’s we need when you’re on the tail drifts out it will you have to use the opposite direction to pull it back in and then your elevator you know forward is for back is back so you’re gonna want yeah it’s almost like is very slow to a helicopter control almost so now when you’re letting to do a torque roll you’ve got the side motion now you got to know what I would do she helps me think is I try to remember if that if I was saving in that position and I was looking at the wing of plane what movements would I have to do because looking at now the sighing oh man I don’t know now now my um elevator is acting like a rudder and my rudder is a from Iraq and elevator so it’s a little bit challenging now when you get backwards here this is receipt right now I’m still learning myself guys so I’m some pawn joys for my feet in your life is that me not being perfect but your controls are really mixed up now because now your rudder is backwards in your elevator who’s back mercy so that’s something that you definitely have to practice on and to learn how to do backwards hovers for now that could be another day your main focus is going to be you know regular hubs like this but you know and it’s in attempt of a torque wall here you gotta have to learn the whole four principles here gonna have to learn your normal human or position right here then you have to learn where this position here where the top of the wing is is facing away from you name your backwards position and then whoops sorry then your other where am i God there we go then your other position where the top looming is facing your right so you’ve got to got to learn those four positions though the top wing is facing facing you top booing is based on your left back is facing you and help the wing type of plane is facing your right so that’s that’s the four principles are going to learn for that for torque roll now you can also have your own torque or where you are use elements to make it work and speed it up faster I did these kind of turquoise look first before I did the torque or do actual work or their engine is creating the torque and not your L arms these are a little bit easier because there’s faster so you’re able to correct it with batter so let’s just say all right I don’t know how to do all the other principles I only don’t have to do step one right here okay so as a spinning I’m not doing a little head makin controls hope not make me did my control so I don’t I have corrected now I can correct it don’t know how to correct it now know how to correct you see how much quicker is versus fist right here okay I’ll make my corrections I make my Corrections or micro Corrections okay oops now I don’t know what to do and then okay I make my corrections see how much longer it takes for the engine to turn the plane off booty around so if you don’t know how to make those Corrections you kind of you know going to lose it so you when you make your main control it’s goes lot faster so you’re able to make your Corrections real quick and then wait around make corrections so over time then you’ll be able to adjust and figure you just by figuring out you’ll be able to you know just by practicing you be able to figure out how to do the rest of it so like my might big feature is like when the plane what a plane is this in position like I said before I always act like behind the plane and the top the plane is facing me say anything what is backwards it’s hard to do it takes practice to think that way but just trying to think just trying to

think that the aircraft is always in front of you is works a lot better saying that we pelicans that’s what I do for helicopters because I always tried to make myself in front of the helicopter at all times so it definitely that’s gonna require some practice but with little practice you guys are going to get it okay so now let’s focus on that approach the approach is always one of the hardest well that really the hardest thing but it’s always something tricky because once once you getting you into position then the plane wants us to sit there once the a plane is vertical it wants to sit there getting there take some time so I’m going to get some air speed and I’m going to try to because a good entry I’m gonna go real slow I’m going to go into an entry here and watch my controls as I go in that one actually was very easy right there you shoot a little bit trickier uh you may have to explain that on a different aircraft but that would right there’s a little bit easier there so let’s try that again all right so throttle off-screen to a slower this time and there we go immediately I put Nellie run in there they prevent that and in our writer on and left rudder to prevent it from torque and over cos like if I just control that elevator it ain’t gonna happen it ain’t gonna happen see how it wants a bank gotta have your left rudder and you’re right our line alright so let’s try a different aircraft here this one’s available at swap pages my Anthony’s not working ok so I’m gonna have to screw it on myself alright so another reset get that internet to work alright so I’m going to I’m going to try to look for a really good example a really good plane that’s built into the simulator that’s great for hovering I probably want to easiest ones is probably PA u H 540 another good one is probably going to be the sbox 342 which is right here now I have made my brushes version it’s on swap pages and it handles really really well it’s very similar to this larger plane it’s very smooth and it is the center of gravity and the power of the plane i customized it and I made it right yeah and what kind of thing for that 3 simulator for task 3 simulators and I finally got it right so I’m gonna go back to the edge 540 because that Daedalus version not you know nobody has unless you download for swap pages but if you don’t want to do that this is the plane that’s pretty good then you can use the gasoline version but this probably is a little bit better alright so it’s the smaller plane smaller aircraft 36 percent instead of 40 percent actually 42 percent and we’re gonna do the same procedure so I’m going to get some airspeed here and I’m just going to fly and go into a hover I got my motor back so it’s going to more of a stall than anything I was little a little slow there but right right away you had to put a lit of LR on and rudder into that so let’s get a closer here there we go all right so this one here for torque roll take the same procedure and this was a little bit faster because this this this point right here Chris has been professionally made by the real flight team and not by another person that Bush knows a lot what they’re doing is not as quite not as well as the roof like team because they make the air across pretty pretty good so as for the torque rolls it handles it really really well very stable all right making your own torque roll it’s quite faster which so this plane right here is very easy to handle I’d still probably recommend the other one because it’s not as twitchy but if you don’t want to download I’ll recommend this one so that’s pretty much mostly hands-off now here’s another key feature that I would recommend for if you learn how to do if you want to learn how to do Torah foils like this before you master your rudder just work on your elevator like do your rudder when the plane is when you have plenty is facing towards you the top line space towards you but work on your elevator first then work on your rudder that’s always try the easiest way to learn okay so now one thing I’ve gotten to yet is our Harriers Harriers

is like a hover but you’re in a Ford motion they require a little bit a little more work especially on with with your arm Eller ons and your elevator not much your rudder but that’s right there is a harrier or you’re almost into a hover but you’re still going in a four motion now one thing about Harriers is they are hard to turn you always got to have a lot of eller on and basically use the rudder just to control the steerage and then rolling Harriers will be something else that I’ll explain later on if you guys are interested in learning how to do run here is I’ll make a video about that so I think that’s about it guys I hope this helps for anybody who’s learned how to hover oh yeah so one more thing is if what you get to the point like this and you want to do some moving around basically just you move your control surface a little further than normal to keep it in one position sorry for the leg to move it from right forward left I’m back and once you get over that you can you can do some really cool things all right so I hope this can help this helps out anybody who is learned how to hover and feel free to to ask me any other questions in the comments below or or as a private message and I’ll be more than happy to answer any questions you guys have if you are want a little more help when it comes to maneuvers you can always ask if you or you can either ask or go on to the online arm on a simulator online and try to get in touch with me as always guys – like the reply message if you wanted to set up a time or you want to go in there I’ll let you know what my it talking about serving our world kind of servers that you should go on if you guys want to I want to do a one-on-one session I can do that we’re going to have you that just let me know separate I’ll let you know my surname is and we can do we can do that for anybody who would be once the little bit further and want to learn more or have maybe struggling a little bit more and wants to just get a little bit more help I’m one happy to help you guys with anything alright so yeah like I said I hope this helps for anybody I hope that um for anybody’s learning I hope this is exactly what you guys are looking for and for those that are doing you know that are prepping for this great job I’m glad you guys are really motivated to to continue or to learn better and I’ll do more on this uh there’s amazing hobby so alright well thanks everybody watching on your comment below any other questions just let me know and I’ll see you next video alright with structure 6 physics and good day and good night
