hello and welcome to omni ids webinar no more embedded RFID for industrial applications I’m Mary Sheridan product marketing manager in the moderator of today’s webinar before we start let’s make sure everyone’s familiar with the webinar control panel the panel is on the right side of your screen it can be minimized by clicking on the double arrow in the upper left corner the panel can then be expanded again by clicking the same arrows in addition please note that all participants will be muted during the webinar but we would like to hear from you so please ask questions share comments even challenge our ideas using the question-and-answer area on the right side of your GoToWebinar panel any time during the webinar we’ll have a Q&A session at the end and we’ll take as many of these questions as possible here’s a brief agenda for the webinar Matt would you mind going through the agenda sorry my computer has died we’re problems gonna start off and we’re going to briefly talk about on the ID about where we come from and who we are we’re going to give you an introduction to these embedded RFID Finn dustrial applications webinar you’re going to talk about some typical applications they embed it tanks and also going to talk about the product specifications of our string news embedded tags that we’ve launched a have embedded tags and i’m also going to talk about some of our testing and validation programs and the key differentiators between our products in a competition and run through some of your questions so that all that go through so I am lat well be in a jar at Omni ID and we have Mary with us today and Edna Brodsky you good chief solutions officer so it would you like to listen introduction into omni ID I’d love to I hope everyone can turn me all right as I’m operating remotely today a little bit on the ID if you’re on this webinar you probably know a lot about us we are the leader in industrial RFID tagging that means hard tagging for harsh environment we pioneered on metal tagging for the first to do long-range passive tagging have a number of other industry first including some of our visual tagging innovation and global response global frequency response technology on ceramic tags and other tags so if you don’t know us you should know us and we do a lot of work within the industry core competency that fuel our leadership we have software and solutions that helps many of our customers in various asset management tasks we work very closely with number of partners as well integrating with other people’s software in creating creating entire enterprise solutions I mentioned briefly in the intro of visual technologies were the world leader in visual tagging this is embedding epaper into rfid tag so that operator readable instructions can be on those tags to enhance your process so very significant technology we won’t be talking about today but a key leadership area for omni ID but you’ll be more interested in is that we have the broadest industrial audio I auto ID profile in the marketplace we have more tag doing more applications than anyone else in the market and this is really something that you can utilize as you get into very mixed systems sometimes you buy one tag for when I said in a different tag very different asset having it all come from one vendor gives you a consistency both in supply and in the technology all of our products are really developed with the base competency of our deep RF technology our RF scientists are excellent at building antennas with multiple presentations and multiple materials are hardware design both for mechanical and materials perspective is second to none and so we developed tags I can go in some of the toughest applications on earth both from a materials perspective but also from an RF read perspective almost every day we’re challenged with new applications to go into strange and different applications and that’s a big part of our core competency that delivers value to you our customers we own our own factories and we integrate completely to the supply chain this allows us to get very very low cost on our products and our tags we also built up the highest volume in the industry we do more tags than our next four competitors combined in the marketplace that volume and that fully integrated supply chain gives you the best value for your money as you develop these tags for you so with that let’s talk about what we’re doing it embedded RFID which is the focus of our webinar

today why do you need embedded RFID embedded means that this RFID tag is not really standing on its own RFID as an inlay of the component will be embedded into some other products increasingly products you’re making whether they’re there tools or devices have to connect it in IOT environment I have to talk to other devices we have talked to other systems your customers are demanding that in our own lives we live in a connected world we expect to walk into different areas different buildings and communicate seamlessly there’s no question that your devices are being asked to do more of that today than ever before you need to do more traceability sadly more government regulation continues and every industry is faced with track-and-trace requirements product origin requirements that often require us to have some kind of tagging that with unique serial number or license plate through the entire process of the supply chain the supply chain and shipping to the increased part of the cost in delivering products to market place and no longer is that a single source you’re often going through different third-party logistics companies and crosswalks and being able to get those products through those multiple cross stocks and be able to see what’s happening is essential to deliver value your customers we all know in our own lives if we order something we love to see it immediately see when it’s going to arrive be able to see all the tests that follows for every business customer as well and the reverse is true we talk about reverse logistics often we have to do product return we have to bring things back for reconditioning even for some of our environmental programs now manufacturers need to receive back goods and recondition them so reverse logistics management is an increasingly large topic that we have to deal with especially with our online shopping world so for all these reasons and we could go on and list another 20 more we have seen an explosion in embedded RFID we have so many customers coming to us asking can we put a tag inside of this product can we design it to fit in a correct way that won’t impact the former function of the product because it needs to be trackable it needs to be traceable and that’s why this webinar today we’d like to help everyone in the marketplace to understand how they can use embedded RFID in their products to give you some thoughts as you think about this think about some typical applications that are out there in the marketplace today some that we’ve done how many of our customers but you may not think of things like golf balls medical instruments I glasses that go in and out as you order them various things not a motive and production communications devices you see little volume control knobs these are just a few of the many applications that we’ve had to embed RFID tags into already and again many more come to our deaths every single day Matt to give a little bit more detail so people understand how this could go did you go through a couple of examples for us through it okay so let’s go through a case study for tooling application that we had so initially a tool supply contacting us as I wanted to develop a range of tools that had RFID tags embedded in every tool at the point of manufacture and this was originally the original reason for this was to help their customers with foreign object detection so in certain maintenance fields and this place tool can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and such as a misplaced tool in an aircraft if a mechanic misplace is a tool the entire plane has to be taken out of service and stripped down until a tool sound this can take up to a week and you know if it’s not done it cute tential II prove catastrophic failure the aircraft so it’s very important to make sure the tools are not misplaced and so to save their cousins time they wanted to track the tools so to develop a set of tools we’ll discuss them are and what we do we develop the whole range of custom tags the customer will then able to provide an entire rfid solution ranging from rfid to store rooms too smart tool cabinets and it’s allowed them to maintain records of who took the tools out when they took them out and also in certain scenarios it enabled them to identify the last known location of the tool there as I said develop the whole range of products on its customer from scene fo for tag that we’re used within wrenches and ceramic tags embedding in screwdrivers sake X and hammers and each tool had to be carefully characterized because we found that certain tools could have a significantly different RF properties

due to their geometry now we’re going to talk a little bit more about that in a few slides so here for this customer we produce the custom Ranger tags to be embedded at the point of manufacture into a whole range of worship workshop tools however of course this will be equally well have been medical equipment or pharmaceutical laboratory equipment but let’s talk a little bit about another case study that we had here today it’s a case that if a customer that runs a golf entertainment complex so this customer operates go fringes and they required to tag golf balls to be able to determine a golf players school and view it on an LCD screen the solution entered as a distance at the ball travels for each player and then the system allocates a player points based on that their shop never played but as I’m sure you can imagine tagging golf balls has been a massive challenge for us and to start with the tags had to be very small so they could be in capsule within the golf ball and had to be durable enough to survive both the other molding process and the energy that exerted on the ball when it’s hit a golf club so when I golf ball in haight actually performs all shape and a ball changes and our tag has to survive this defamation and it also cannot cause any damage to internal structure of the board which could lead it to fracture there is a extremely complex project the custom tag that we developed was very small he had to be extremely durable it had to have sufficient read range to be detected with the customers existing infrastructure and so we spent a lot of time with the ball I’m all company and we helped them internally to tune they’re overloading process to make sure that other tags were always overloaded centrally within the ball and it was to avoid any RF variation and any detrimental effects on the structure in the ball so this particular customer we had to go through multiple design iterations that come with an ultimate design every design was extensively tested we tested the texture or product validation process and we also tested the finished product through our product man addiction process each golf ball was subjected to a very demanding sermon testing regime and we also five them out of a cannon at high speed onto a concrete wall and this was to make sure that the RFID could withstand extreme forces and and not cause any damage to the ball so for each design iteration analyze environmental test results and we improve the subsequent design and after multiple design rounds we have now the you know we’ve now got a UHF RFID custom product for this application that provides consistent performance over entire life of the golf ball and I think we’ve sold millions of these so at this point let her hand you back to EDD and discuss other application that you could possibly challenge us with thanks Matt yeah we’re challenged by many many things math given a couple of good examples but some other ideas might be in manufacturing where you’re embedding into different structures certainly in data centers we do a lot of work with metallic and plastic structures that are going into data center and data control an interesting one you may not think of as military where we’re tagging different weapon systems and sub-assemblies for munitions all of these have a common characteristic that they can be challenging with metallic environment they can have high densities or you’re packing many of these devices together and they may be things that you would think as a manufacturer as you listen to this webinar they would be really difficult it may not be even possible but we want to assure you that working through this in the industry this kind of high density high metallic environment can achieve really good read rates and really good read performance with the right kind of design and that’s why I’m the ID is here in the market to provide that value we have an example here on some of the ways that we embed these products you see three of our products listed here in a typical application for embedded one way to embed is to take a catalog product and not do the kind of intensive co designing that we’ve done an example so I’m not just showed but to take some of our reference designs and take them and embed them directly in your product yourself we have some application guys that help you do that and this is a good example of seeing them put down into the recess Matt would you like to talk a little bit about how that works in the recess and some of the specifications going forward well I’m so Lana has

additive discussed openly Lords new range of ceramic tags and these are specifically tuned for embedding within metro assets so the idea of that you can take these in and fit embedded tags and embed them yourself directly try them out and have a go so we’ve launched three form factors recently we’ve got the fit 100 embedded 200 embedded and fit four hundred embedded each each of these are original so they come in regional variants we’ve got European region region and the u.s. variants and so on this slide what you can see here as you can see this free text you can see the pic 100 embedded here fixed 200k and the fit four hundred they come with these or plastic carriers and choose a black plastic part and yeah I did it but behind this is to make sure that to aid you in placing the tag centrally every time to avoid any variation in RF and the thick 100 it is the smallest one with ideal for very small assets and you can move there in heightened sort of bolt heads we haven’t we’ve you’ve that tag in bolts for custom application we and the 200 and 400 are better suited for larger assets and that’s a fountain s eyes really so with these thief tags have been designed specifically for embedding and they’ve been designed to be embedded within a specific recess size so if you have a look on the screen name but the recess recommended recess sizes and also in the application guide there’s details there and also in the data sheets and you should be able to see them on the right hand in your webinar panel there and out setting download though as I said take that being too to be embedded unique specifically theft sizes and if you embed tag within next specific recess I’d you should achieve that of a live performance however it’s important to remember and to note at this point that the exact RF performance and you will achieve is heavily dependent on your particular asset his geometry its composition and the location and our excess so if you have a look at the application guide for more details on that then so that we’ve launched these free embedded ceramic tags and we’re also launching a scuffle tuning serving so if you find that they need custom tuning because your assets are cooling be tuning that’s not acceptable we can offer custom tuning terms out there three levels so late and we’ll talk about it in a short while so this Griffin some of these product specification though all three of these 100 embedded 200 embedded and 400 embedded come with me alien higgs free i see so you can expect to achieve about one meter read range when I think 100 am approximately two meters will fit 200 a.m. and up to for me to do with 400 a.m. if you use recommended recess sizes so that they’re being tuned specifically for embed in in metro assets their regional products in order either us will eat variant when you provide a carriers free of charge to help eat the placement and make sure you placement centrally every time which is very important he embedded range unpainted and you’ve got five of the tags there on the screen size of recommended recesses and big 100 is rated up to 70 degrees C whereas a 200 and 400 go from minus 22 plus 85 degree c now we’re more than happy to provide eight eggs or c1 d1 products if needs be so please do have a look at the polite datasheet and any user guides for more information and let’s go through and talk a little bit about recess preparation and put it from home so as I’ve said already to ensure the RF performance is consistently gets embedded tag you’re going to make sure that your recess is consistent going to make the correct size it’s important at the position and the dimensional recess on the assets are controlled in all cases the research should be a circular of a flat bottom and it must be prepared accurately and consistently every time any variation in your exercise or positions willing to reduce RS aeration but is absolutely crucial that the recesses are made using can control process the bottom of the recess at me as flat as flat as possible there’s a little shampoo that the ok button this needs to be controlled anything repeatable and so give you an example if you vary your

recess diameter by as little as 2 millimeters it can reduce your read range by as much as fifty percent so two millimeters variation in recess diameter fifty percent reduction or in brain is very important to control your recess okay and it’s also very important to make sure the tag it placed centrally every time and so to help you with that we produced these carriers that will supply with the tags at no added charge the tag will be pre placed within the carriers all you have to do is take them out on the tray pop them in the recess and pop them what was that were potting compound selected so who are tuning validation we’ve used in tektronix I rs21 26 which is a fast cure flexible epoxy resin is a two-part system with a one-to-one mix ratio and we’ve also use the plexus ma a trio but you’ll also known as Def Con welder and I’ve got a lot of youth its old name and this is also a two-part system with a ten to one mix ratio so although we tested boasting epoxy whether your boat epoxy resins and we have validated them in our laboratory we always recommend that you test potting compound suitability with your specific application because every application in the potting compound selection should be based on the materials involved and expected temperature exposure acceptable cheering to curing times pop life of the potting compound also the viscosity you know some flow a lot more and also a storage Liza the pot life so we advise against any adhesive that contains metals in their formulation now they will impact the RF performers and unique you really do need to select the right potting compound for your application generally I would say two-part epoxies up good and that’s because they’re easy to cure the you’re generally quickly they’re they’re quite easy to store but they do require controlled mixing and dispensing some are one-to-one others maybe ten to one and it’s important to get that makes them really show correct because if you get it out lies littles ten percent it could be the difference between it not curing so we’re going to make sure you select the right potting compound for your application some two-part epoxies do come the cartridge forms that contain mixing nozzles and that can be very helpful if you’re doing a low volume so when you when you papa tags it’s also very important and control the adhesive the potting compound nests above the tag we recommend generally that detection have one millimeter of epoxy over the top and any excessive potting compound will cause the frequency to server so you need a something common process so so generally know if you find get the performance of the product is not adequate then that we can provide a custom tuning service and we will apart this custom shooting service we can take your potting compound and we can assess it for for our shift because different potting compounds will cause different types of RF shifts but why is cousin so important there are embedded tags so when we embed a tag suffers from heavy detuning due to the metal cavity and also the pot income for compound us over the top and around the sides of it so in a meta tag will experience heavy attenuation and it will shift in frequency though our standard fit embedded range I’ve been designed to take this into account well we said earlier you know the geometry of your assets could affect this but what I’m trying here on the screen we’ve got a frequency response put graph this is a standard fit 200 it’s not the embedded one if I’ll standard fit 200 us and you can see highlighted in like grain you’ve got the u.s. FCC RFID band and you can see I think 200 in easily going to achieve two meters read range within the however if you take that that tag and you embed it into a particular asset between we’ve done here we’ve embedded in a wrench we’ve taken the off-the-shelf standard fit 200 not the embedded vacuum and potted it in a range and what we’ve notable things hehe it had severe frequency shift and attenuation so now the peak is down to one meter but its way out of the band so we were reading at two meters before it at FCC but now unless we listen you

we’re at 20 centimeters now so you know these tags are very small and they’ve got a very sharp too though the response is very sharp and so we’ve our standard embedded range we’ve taken this into account but you you know depending on your asset may still need custom tuning though pasta shells embedded tags have been designed to operate in a given recess fire however we cannot guarantee the final Horace performance on a hot item as it’s dependent on the SS geometry and Composition so for example we have two identical different lengths wrenches and won’t sorry two identical tags that we put it in two different wrenches one will the smaller on the other larger and when we put it at the identical tags and we found what one tag performed one meter and the other performed at 4 meters and this is purely down to the asset job so bear that in mind so we cannot always standard RFID tag for embedded into tag some of you out there may have all tried this already you may have tried to take a custom a standard tag maybe one of our for one of our competitors and try to embed it or location close proximity of metal and anything not of work and so if this is the case please do contact us about our custom tuning service so let’s talk about our custom tuning service this is where we’ll take your asset in rfid laboratory and we’ll custom tune an RFI d tags operate once embedded in your asset so we’ll provide you with bespoke rfid tag specifically designed to operate little asset so to do this will fully characterize the RF impact called by pipetting within your asset and we’ll custom tune a product for you taking into account the shift caused by the pottying the potting compound and we can your epoxy of your choice to make sure that we take that intake down we’ll provide you we mainly tell report highlighting the RF shift and will produce a custom tag spam specifically for you and we’ll provide you with samples then you to evaluate so we’ve got service levels we’ve got the custom we’ve got a custom class and the custom premium but the custom one it means basic that’s an option and where you can engage with our sales team and they’ll recommend a recess sighs you provide your asset to us with that recess ship it to our lab and we’ll do all the work in a lab and then once we’re done we’ll send your report will send you tags for you to try if whatever reason you’re unable to produce a recess then we may be able to help you with that we’ll have to discuss that with you that if we’re able to help and produce a recess for you then that would where you have to opt for our custom plus we’ll send us your asset and will help operating the reset now if you have an asset that’s as large or for whatever reason you’re unable to ship it to us that’s where they cut from prima Watson comes into play so in this situation when you engage with our sales team and I fees and we’ll do some work beforehand but we’ll come to your site and we’ll do the shooting work at your site so you won’t have to ship the efforts to us those are our three levels of custom tuning service simply offering so let’s talk a little bit about our testing and validation so Omni ID had its own dedicated product validation and testing to you we’ve got a laboratory and it’s iso 9001 and 14001 fight we validation test all our products and materials the tough environmental and mechanical NRF test regime and it includes soaked by cool hot testing stands for highly accelerated lifetime testing we test from high temperatures as high as 225 degree than England 250 degrees down to below freezing only products that cost our stringent tests are released in the market and that’s important and but but why does this matter why does this matter to you and these small ceramic products have you’ve already seen we’re very high Q you know what a narrow response curves good sharp curve and if any variation could shift it out of the band then you’ll have severe severe read range problems so if you’re buying your tags from a low cost low quality supplier that does not test every tag you experience high product variation and a purely down to the sharp response of these ceramic tags they have seen earlier any variation can we bring from

2 meter now to one of the 27 and ceramic products in by the nature are very hard to and difficult to manufacture consistently even with the best processes because you’re trying to pack so much RF energy these are such a small tag that the variation has to be controlled tightly on the idea we calibrate every single tag and we either a bespoke tuning station that we’ve designed so every type of manufactured is calibrated individually to met to reduce the product variation and make sure that the products you get arkin system we screen our tags for the RF performance multiple times throughout the manufacturing process and it is really to ensure that we have tight controls and you know then we’ve got an acceptable product variation for you so if you are a manufacturer and you’re providing your product of a tag embedded at the point of manufacturing you need to make sure that your tag will operate consistently in the field and the only way to guarantee this is to ensure your supplier has a rig testing regime in place such as the heart so why choose on the ID so we’re going to proven track record in providing bespoke custom tune products for your applications ranging from golf balls you know tags on weapons removable container tags high temperature tire tags to tracking tags we’ve done countless bespoke products our customers you know we’re also that the only supplier of the UHF RFID tags that have that have global performance so we don’t forget specifically about ceramic taxi with the only supplier of global ceramic products and we can produce high temperature bespoke global ceramic products so you to embed in your assets also what a demonstrated our ability to survive thermal extremity testing from temperatures from minus 40 degrees seen directly up to 25 degrees in for many many extreme shock cycles or talking about pain directly from minus forty-two to 25 we demonstrated we survived that where our competitors products they fell off as just one cycle so we can if you’ve got a high temperature application you know we can provide bespoke RFID tags that can survive the high temperature manufacturing processes if you need to over more tags / an all-over motor products of our tags that’s not a problem we can help you so I’ve discussed in the previous slides our products also had the uprights have the best RF stability and lowest product variation when compared to our competitors so at this point and you back to add you can talk a little bit more about our key differentiators thanks Matt a lot of great information and very important to understand in terms of the frequency shift on that hike you tag I will talk a little bit more about that I’m sure as we eat with each of you that are on the call as you at you ask follow-up questions so key differentiators we talked about the unique applications that we’re embedding these tags into all over the world with market leading companies to choose all the ideas a partner means that you’re choosing an expertly designed and manufactured tag we have a team of in-house engineers and RF experts that can really look exactly at your environment at your application and architect the solution that goes all the way through the facility and works well for your customer base having that Bank of experience behind you as you’re designing this gives you an easy straightforward you know cost-effective way to approach a project and this can give you a lot of assurance as you try and fight your project through your upper management levels and gain funding you’re going to have a lot of other things to worry about I’m sure as you’re bringing a product to market RFID tag so that you can participate in this iot competitive space the last thing you need to worry about is the physics of this RF we need a strong partner that can do that for you and that’s really what we offer as our highest value proposition the fact that we own our own manufacturing and that we have a repeatable process that we’re very rigorously working on quality to make sure that we have the best quality in the industry is an important factor for you to understand we frequently have some of our world-leading customers audit us at our facility we passed multiple audits by Fortune 100 companies and as you visit us and get to know us you’ll understand very clearly why you can trust us for the quality that you need for these very very difficult technical products we have a software that can help you as well whether through us are some of our partners hundreds of partners around the world after our own software applications that we can we can work with you on quite often you need that piece of the solution and we can provide it all in

embedded directly in them and when you run that across the counter at Best Buy you’ll find that it’s encoded to your personality and your warranty program and we’ll know exactly who you are so same principle applies no matter what device you’re talking about even a large heavy metal asset the fact that you’re embedding a tag means that it’s not easy to remove a label or even a scratch off an identifying number this tag is often invisible and embedded beneath the surface in a way that makes it very secure and less likely to be tampered with the unique ID of every tag means that that unique serial number can be identified a trace for authenticity there’s means of locking the tag so the ID cannot be changed and there is even some more advanced chipset an ability to put a private key in that can be encrypted so that we can be very very assured that it hasn’t been clone or that the tag is very specifically for your assets so yes if security is your concern embedded tagging is an excellent way to have very secure custody of your assets and ensure that they are open thanks add the next one is I’m concerned over the durability of my asset do these new embedded tags enhance that durability how about Matt you want to comment on that excellent that that’s an important question so we work with customers from an early state normally and let’s to ensure that the best position is identified for locating the RFID tag and you can take that into account when designing your asset so ideally attack should be either potted or epoxy door put in place or you could even place a cap over the top once the potting compound is cured the tag E is protected from external influences such as impact abrasion chemical exposure you know and any other hazardous handling so there’s little to no risk that the tag will become detached and you can rest assured that you asset will be permanently RFID tags so generate the only saw the process of engaging worse the better you’ll be able to design the rfid products into your assets thanks Matt the next question is can your embedded tags be used with any rfid reader absolutely that’s a really easy one to answer on the idea is really committed to open standards and all of our tags are compliant with the isolation cat6 global standard as well as participating many other groups such as gs1 and supporting the class 1gen to uhf air interface protocols so whenever you’re dealing with any of our tags realize they’re open standard any reader can be bought from any vendor to be able to read them in an in a very standard way not only the reader can read them but even the information encoded can be standardized so have no fears about that this is a completely open and standardized protocol Matt this next question you touched on quite a bit in the webinar but I think it’s really important so I’m going to ask it again does a physician or embedding effect tag performance yes yes well a significant was a tag and let’s give you a whole double we when we were working with the US Marines are simply moving a tax position by a couple of millimeters double dare read range so you know embedding is really key and so that’s why we take a consultative approach with our customers and we have the ability to tune adjust will customize as necessary for your applications based on our excuse okay thank you next one is asking about off the shelf tags does any ideas off the shelf tags for embedding Matt yes yes we do so we just launched our fit 100 em-50 onto the MSA 400 am and you take a look at our embedding guy that’s on our website or on the control panel on the right you’ll screen and try them out you can attempt to you the off-the-shelf products however if you find that the performances suboptimal due to the geometry of your asset then you can opt for one of our custom tuning services and we can look into providing your bespoke product okay Matt the next one is about material are the standard embedded tags tuned for a specific type of metal or can they be embedded in other types of metals or other materials

such as wood or plastic good question so I’ll standard off-the-shelf sticking bedded range have been cheated specifically they’re hella minion substrates its name in to work with other types of metals however if you find that in off the shelf solution is not suitable or if you need plastic recess evil word and you mention there you’ll have to consider our custom tuning center and we’ll be able to ensure that the best possible performance delivered 50 or asset type okay we’ve got one more question can omni IDs embedded fit tags be customized and I know we talked quite a bit about this on the webinar but I think it’s important to review it one more time yeah I think through a few different parts not just talked about in the answer the last question about our custom tuning service that’s really unique in the industry that we have our own tuning lines with operators that can really put the frequency shift into exact spot you need for your asset so the very first way we customize is retuning these tags they fit your aperture your type of metals your type of painted surface whatever is it’s going on that frequency shift that’s so important optimized I can certainly be customized but there’s other things that we customize and I don’t know if we mentioned them as much bar codes are often asked to be put on top of the tags or some kind of customized lettering or caps I might go on top we do all of those things to allow them to be also operator visible I know we had a couple of customers that wanted particular dots of paint to have a certain color so that it could be easy for their process to embed the tags and differentiate one tag from another we we are very open and do frequently this kind of customization it’s probably one of the big differentiators in the marketplace we are very flexible working with our customers in putting whatever kind of coloration barcodes etching that needs to happen on the tag to make it most effective for our customers another thing that we do which is really important these tags can come with just a standard license plate number but many customers already have an encoding scheme or our code scheme for their products but they would like to adopt an e-tag they’d like to match a serial number they’d like to match an EPC code with their vendor ID into it rather than having to go through the painful process and coding all the tags when you receive them from us we can encode them for you at our factory and have them delivered with the right Ethan c-section memory program with your encoding that’s a really important one it saves a lot of time and money again a differentiated service that we can offer so I hope that gives a gives the person asking that question the answer that they needed but the phone numbers we gave earlier in that previous slide if you have any question about something you’d like customized or a different very issue you’d like or a label you like put on it you should contact that sales desk in the region that’s applicable to you and they can certainly help you with that since we have just a couple more minutes left one last question came in and you are speaking about key differentiators and the question is asking for the key differentiate between the surface mount fit tags and the new embedded tags mad can you speak to that yeah sure so I mean basically net you differently difference they decade she specifically for embedding in metallic recess now standard range surface mount are painted where are the embedded or not because they’re going to be coming in some form of potting compound yeah that’s really different conditions legend listen ok I think that’s the end of our webinar for today but before you go in case you didn’t notice there’s handouts in the webinar panel over on the right side just click to download they’re located also on our website at and products please look for our follow-up email that will include a link to the recording from today’s webinar to review any of the material your missed or just go over it again on behalf of Ed and Matt as well as the rest of the team at on the ID thank you for joining us and taking the time to view our presentation we can always be reached by contacting sales at Omni ID com have a wonderful day and thank you again
