I’ll run into the training room and get you back on where are you at Natalie I’m in service department a month not if we can’t get it in the next few seconds Jim just come up here okay all right um I’ve got that looks like we’re just going to be redoing a recording anyway so yes yep yeah that does not look like that many people are nobody you’re talking and walking this walls for free she’ll know I shouldn’t be oh you don’t have any access no I don’t have any control at all he have no mouth or anything I’m trying to talk about your site on feedback I’m gonna get the headphone set up and get all that activated and then Jim come up here okay sounds good thanks bye oh you want me to hang this blown up and come up there what you want me to end this call out here and they come up there all right I’m underway welcome to goto meeting online meetings made easy there are one other callers on the call you you view this recording what we’re going to be covering today is a diamond connection Jim Lance’s our presenter day he’s a resident expert in this a lot more and I’ve ever done so we’re just going to start with the diamond connection if anybody logs in or if anybody hears this recording afterwards if you have any questions you can call in 2 7 63 295 5 113 and ask for any one of the counter guys or Jim lamps and we’ll be able to help you out with the diamond connection right now i’m going to give over Jim and I’m going to sit back and listen okay thanks doc good morning everybody the program we’re going to be covering today is called diamond connection solutions it’s a very easy user friendly inventory control management program for your shops and also it’s a service program for you to be able to track your labor and you’re all your repair orders and also be able to do your preventive maintenance on your vehicles also so let’s get right back into it Diamond connection solutions here’s our you’re a beginning screen from the screen you can tell you can select your users user level so if you have multiple mechanics in your shop and not just yourself is going to be using a program we can adjust all the settings so your individual users can see only what you want them to see and can do only what you want them to do so it gives you a level security but for today’s purposes we’re going to be working in the managers level smile so we’ll jump right into it jump right into it there we go all right so this is your main screen that you can see in the beginning on the top you can see there’s a parts button a repair order button work order list button preventive maintenance schedules vehicles staff vendors service codes customers later on in the program will show you where if you are doing some outside work for other customers you can actually invoice them through this and track that and also do the taxes and stuff if you want to the next three on here the fuel the driver’s log in the fuel interface these are optional they don’t come with the initial program these are an optional modules we call them we’ll cover that a little bit and then this nice big yellow triangle that’s to remind button what the reminder a button does is it tells you the different things that are coming up that are going to do so of course you got your help and in the security that I talked about earlier this is where you

would configure your different users to what you want them to be able to see you can turn things on and off for everybody so let’s start off with parts that’s the largest part of this program so you just click into the parts in a parts you have is your all your part numbers your description primary bins plenty on hands last cost average cost vendors you can slide this over a little bit and you can see who the vendor is different categories you can set them up under your under the FMS I codes if you want you can be able to track how much you’re spending on breaks a year how much you spending on electrical how much you’re spending a cab things of that nature so in here you have a couple different things that you can do you have active inactive all and what that means is this is your active part numbers in active part numbers are parts that you are no longer going to use if you know you’re never going to use it again you cannot delete a part off your system the only thing you can make it is inactive so let’s say for instance is bulb you want to deactivate that you just come right down to the deactivate button you deactivate it now it’s off of your active inventory it won’t try to reorder for you or anything that nature and yes even if there is a quantity on hand for it you can inactivate it until you’re you know while you’re using it and as soon as goes down to zero just an 0 then if you by chance mistakenly did this you want to reactivate it you just go back to activate now jumps it right back into the activate cop in the column solve from this to you have heart check in you can check in parts of this way actually you know what let me start over here again let’s go back and add a partner i’m going to show you how we come up with this if you have a new part numbers coming in you just go down to insert click on insert these little asterisks next to these three items here are the only things only information that has to be entered into a part number for it to become active the rest of this stuff you can fill in later because a lot of times you know you order a part you don’t know what the cost is you may not know what been able to put it into anything of that nature right off the bat so you want to set up a part number this way as you order it and then when it comes in you can fill in the rest of the categories current supplier please click on that it brings down a drop down menu and you just double click on whichever one you want it to be current last paid costs or whatever you just this time initial on-hand inventory you can at this point when you’re adding a part number you can change your quantity on hand right here really easily your primary bin location second or even location unit measures you can do box you can do centimeter you can do case metric system into the metric system percent a markup if you want to mark that part up every time that that part is sold but a part number you know like hoses you go on say like filters you can put filters right into miscellaneous or you put it into engines you put in the fluid change you put into that and it’s just for helping you track at a later time you got category subcategory different things that you can set up that way over here it shows you what if you it shows what your average cost is you last paid consequently on hand cornea and order this is for if you’re looking at a park that’s already set up here’s a really important parts warranty flag everything bought from international that’s an international park who’s got a 365-day hundred thousand mile warranty so it’s got a one-year warranty on it this part right here is going to really help you in the future this can actually help pay for your whole system costs within just a couple of years very easily now I’ll show that to you later when we get into the work order schedule there the work orders of how this is really going to come in in here too let’s say it’s a renewed transmission or it’s a renewed differential something like that they might have a two-year warranty or three year warranty on it you’ll want to add you want to change this over to that and use por SI seeds add a form that’s not your format down here is your reorder point information you can either do the restock options of a formula which is it’s a complicated formula and i don’t think i would even have time to even try to describe it or have anybody understand it today I it’s hard but it works it’s very good you have a min max option you can do you just click on min max and here you change your mins and maxes of what you want you can change these values to whatever whatever you want to have or you can have it just an adult reorder if it’s something that you’re not we’re going to order once or

twice and that’s it just put it on a don’t reorder in that way you’ll just stay off your future reports when you’re looking in for reorders if you do have the formula actually if you have the min/max set up and you want to see what the formula would be let’s say you’ve been using a system for about year now or two years you can go back into an individual part number and you can see what the formula trend would be and see if that formula trend would work for you if it does you can just switch it over to the formula and it just always keeps track of it you don’t have to ever worry about it again so let’s cancel out of that we don’t really need to add a part if we look at let’s look at a part number here and you can see the different things that we have in here see how the done and very bottom on the reefs on the reorder point information you have a formula the formula trend shows that you should always have two on hand which is set up kind of maximum reorder claudius to your men instant one so it can adjust all falls on mine right there under a part number you can have notes also right up here in the top and just about everyone these little screens that will open up there’s always little tabs on the top so and it’s really hard to overlook those but I’m the individual part you can do the notes and here you can type anything like superseded by a 1 94 bulb so you just put that into there now over on your part screen you can see that there’s a little deal next with some people some customers that I have what they do is they can grab and it’s just extend that over and you can see it right there and so you can just bring that up them quickly and you can see what it supersedes by the other area where people will use this also as I say you’re replacing a hose and international has changed that holes and because that holds this change you have to use a different clamp now what you can do is under the hose part number you can put under the notes need to use this clamp also in that way anyone’s going to get this part to put it on that bus or that truck they automatically know they see the notes for going to the notes oh I need to grab this plant too so they have what they need so don’t get on a job and stuck without something okay so parts check in is roughly the same kind of idea you just hit it going to parts check in you hit insert you’re part number whatever your part number maybe if you already have the barcode on it you can just scan the barcode put your clicker right in here hit your barcode and all almost all this information will all come up then you just put in the quantity that you want to do primary bin number should come up off your barcode if it doesn’t you can just manually enter it right there check-in reference number what a lot of my customers doing a check check in reference numbers they put the invoice number that they bought it done that way if in the future you ever have an issue or you want to try to return it you can go right into the part number you can pull this up and see what invoices their robot on essentially that’s it for parts check in once you go through and put all those in they’ll all be set up here all these part numbers will be set up you just complete check in and print need a complete check in and front oh sorry we’ll put a part number in there just to say we did see primary bin location everything that’s reference to that part number through the barcode or through the system will come up in this and we’re going to let’s say we want to add five we’ll hit okay so now we got all the stuff that’s the one thing we’re checking in today we want to complete check in and print right here we have the option if we want to print five labels we can print five labels for each one if we don’t it won’t print any at all sometimes like with filters you don’t want to put a label on every filter you want to just put the label right on you have the label right on the Shelf that’s all you need for that kind of those kind of parts that’s fine too and you just say you don’t want to you don’t want to print it if you want to go back you want to print just one of them you can go back here highlight the part number that you want put in the quantity of articles that you want just come over here hit print articles and I’ll print you whatever Bart they mount tube articles that you wanted ah let’s see as far as parts see you can adjust quantities so you highlight the part sort highlight the part so engine oil we can do an adjust quantity let’s bring it down to 120 in here this is there’s an asterisk there so you have to put something in here you can have just a simple adjustment or you can say a add oil spill and you lost that measured quantities now you just drop down to 120 so basically you’d basically checked five off of there later on when we get into this I’ll show you the

reports and you can see those kind of deals of the inventory adjustments and what they were and gives you a explanation of why transfer don’t worry about transfers as for multiple locations that part of this system doesn’t work right now advanced adjustments you can do invest in advance adjustments part number to adjust click your part number and here you can you can adjust all these different fields and again you can put this on while you’re doing an adjustment on it so everything is trackable for everything that you do one of the reasons why the security really comes into play if you have multiple people going into your system during the day different cannock sore night shift working and stuff and doing repair orders and you don’t want them to be able to do these adjustments you don’t want them to be able to only way that they can take inventory out is if they actually put it onto a work order you can certainly do that through the security fields by just setting up each personal what they what you can grant them and deny them and so that way it protects your assets a little bit that way so let’s get out of that real quick fiscal inventory when you get into doing a physical inventory it we’ve made it very simple over the years in the past it used to be very cumbersome today it’s very easy basically all you have to do is you have to have a bin location set up for each part number these are different too far here’s all your primary been locations this one doesn’t have a bin location because it’s a core so you go into physical inventory basically you print your count sheets we want to do all records you don’t have to do all records you can do Ben location one bin location if you want like if you want to just do the cabinet you can do in just the cabinet kind of jumping ahead of myself here but it automatically comes up all records if you want to do a custom core you can do a custom quarry and you didn’t hear I’ll show you this a little bit later this gets a little a little hard to describe we get into doing custom reports it’s the best thing to do would be call me I can sit down with you and I can go through and help you set up something and you really get an idea of how it’s working working out the demo disk like this with the demo inventory it’s really hard because there’s not very much history to be able to pull off of so I would say as far as the custom reports goes I am here for you at any time to be able to sit down with you and show you how to do them but they are completely customizable to whatever you won’t want it to be so just keep that in mind for future so for right now just for simplicity for the webinar we’re just going to do all records basically these are sheets that you come up these are the sheets that you’ll hand out to the to your people counting or yourself based leaders go through its all in primary bin numerical order and you just put in the right go through and put in your number that you want on it once these sheets are done they turn him back into you or you come back to your system and you enter your comment here what you want to do is you want to do beginning editing and these fall right in line with what your sheets are so you can just do it ten key it in if you want just spam the numbers right in on it and then when you’re done oh if it is zero you want to put zero you don’t you can’t leave a field empty if there’s one you put one if there’s two you put two when you’re done for this purpose let’s just do will do 11 1111 stop editing will stop editing because we’re all done okay come on guys are not doing it oh it did stop sorry here at this point it will tell you your next step in the process it just walks you right through the steps parts not counted on the report this will tell you there’s no records available because we had a number of numerical number for each one of the parts that were on that report this is your parts of variance report so somebody forgot to cone something this will tell you right now if something was not counted part variance report this will tell you what your differences are you have your current on hand you have your account quantity so right here you can say okay then this five mr. hunter miss 48 miss 119 whatever the case maybe this is what your inventory value is going to go down this is basically you can say this is what was lost in your account most of

time is just an error on the people counting or maybe a typo when he typed it in they hit the wrong number you can just go back and you can change those it’s easy to go back into do you just go right back into your enter your account again begin editing and you change your values for those ones when you are done post your counselor inventory as soon as you do this it’s going to change all your values on everything that’s in your inventory to what you said was there so pretty easy pretty easy to do an inventory on this that kind of pretty much wraps up the parts end of things as of right now the next part will go into is into the repair orders in your repair orders you know what let’s go into work order list these are the work orders are already open you have open work orders ready to close work orders close all work orders voided non exported and exported so let’s look at an open repair order in here you’ll see there’s an asterisk here and there’s an asterisk next to the miles and an asstard mixing employee code those three things are what you need to open up a repair order okay what customers will do that have the system now as they’ll go in they’ll create a work order just like that with the three items into it they’ll go down and put in the service close of what they want the mechanics to do print the sheet give the mechanic the sheet and can’t goes on the shop with the sheet when he needs parts and it gives them a list of what needs to be done on a bus and then when they need parts on our parts on our barcode labels when you print them they’re actually it’s a two-part label it sticks to the package and then another part on the top rips off in a rip software easy and still sticky and you can stick that onto the repair order so then the mechanic at the end when he’s done working on the bus or the truck they’ll bring that back up to the person in charge of closing their work orders and going over them and then at that point you can take your barcode scanner and just scan all the barcodes and all those parts will go on to that repair order take them out of your inventory and you got your complete tracking on it when you are in a repair order one of the things that will come up is the pending PMS ok on your p.m. schedule I’m hoping I’m not losing you guys here in your p.m. schedulers multiple multiple fastest when it comes in to repair orders so we’re going to kind of jump a little bit here in your p.m. schedule go set up your different PMS to whatever you want it to be you call it whatever you want it to be in us basically you just insert it put your vehicle number into it you can do multiple copies of them also by copy p.m. from another vehicle to a current vehicle so basically lost track mind sorry everybody changing a p.m. so let you know this this PM right now is set up on a one on meter last performed on 925 last meter was this lat last meter too is that last meter 2 meter to could be hours this could be miles next scheduled date that’s when it’s due the next this is the meter let’s do next the reason these come up pending PMS is when you open up a repair order under that vehicle numbers tracking everything from the mileage that you put in it and also from the work order date that you enter if this button does come up this is where you can click that button you’ll tell you all the services all the PM’s that are coming do that are coming due soon if there isn’t any coming too soon let’s say you just went through and you did all the PM’s on a bus and its back in again a week later nothing this button will not show up it’s not within the recommended time frame but what L happened is let’s say you bring in a bus to put a starter in it and you’ll say welcome to put the starter in it you hit your pending pm’s you can say oh well I need all do this at the same time then the next week or two let’s just do that now and be done with it and then your p.m. will start over again at this this date then at these miles and then calculate out to the next one this reported problems button I could show you later that is an added module on to it that’s an added expense of the program and what that kind of does show if you hit it it will show you that tape deck is bad so it kind of happened here is a driver came in and said hey the tape deck in my my unit is bad you didn’t want to bring that truck and bus in at that point and fix it at that time so you put it into the report a problem so the next time it came into the shop for anything the report of problems will show up and you can handle all those kind of issues at that time all it’s in it for something else if there is something like this you can just do this click you can go ad problem to work

order you know go right it’ll be right onto your work order put it under miscellaneous service ok so now now your reporter problems are gone and it’s added right down into here when you print this off you’ll see you know the tape deck was bad you’ll see all those read those comments on it from your work order also you had put all your parts into it and that’s really easy to do you just click insert and if you have a barcode printer or if you had a barcode on that part now is when you just scan that all the relative information will come in except for your quantity use you just put in your quantity use and then click OK oh just got to put part number sorry we’re going to use a lot of bulbs today we’re going to use three of them click OK ok here’s an interesting deal this is where I was telling you earlier underneath your parts screen when you’re inserting a partner you’re adding a part into the inventory to make sure that you put in what the warranty is because this bus a nine last uses 923 of all five because the dates were using it because this is a can program this one actually had a bulb put it in it in the last 365 days so it’s telling you basically within the last year you’ve already put one of these bulbs on to it it may be under warranty you might want to check into it and you could probably get that bulb covered under warranty and they’ll save you that expense of that bulb with that right there you’re probably going to be able to pay for the system within two years because face it we all have so much going on these days in our shops and in our business that we lose track of what bus gets what this will help you to be able to track your warranty purposes or warranty parts a lot better and recoup some of that money back into your pocket so this is probably the biggest thing right here out of the whole program to be able to save you money in the future if that bob was under warranty you just contact your your vendor of who sold you that part and you find the invoice for it you have the invoice Ford then you turn on you get that covered under warranty and there’d be four dot 25 cents you just saved yourself and your company that day if everything is done on here the way you want it to be you have employee code and i’ll show you that under employee under staff up here later the employee codes the only ones that can be an employee code for this will have to be labeled as a mechanic as here as you see in the staff there’s mechanicus clerk there’s drivers only the ones labeled under employee type of mechanic can actually be used under here so you want to be careful that when you do that so let’s say the mechanics came in you gave them the repair orders they went off they repaired everything the only thing that you use were the bulbs he brought you the work order back in you put the you put the parts on to the repair order so now you can say that part or that repair order is completed at that point you can close it if you want or if you want to leave it open till the end of the month you can always say let’s say it’s the second day of the month and you did this you can leave it under the completed in two weeks later they come back in and there’s more things I need to get done in that same bus you can either open up a new ro or you can use this one ro I have customers do it either way they create an ro for every time that bus comes to the door or they will just create one ro for that bus every month if nothing needs to be done on that bus that month of course it won’t have a repair order done out but they just leave it in a completed file you can eyes go back through and open it again just by clicking open and then again you can add in service codes if you want you can add in parts if you want I do have some customers out there that will go through and they’ll set up a let’s set up a repair order just for like miscellaneous they’re not worried about the bulbs wiper blades and stuff like that just a little onesie twosie s and they’ll open one ro for like shop and all those small little items the driver comes running in five minutes for route says hey I need a wiper blade get my wiper blade they put it away blade just on that shop repair order so they know what they did that one done those latest leave that open and he just closed it at the end of every month once it is closed once I click this and I click OK you cannot reopen that work order again it’s always closed so let’s why a lot of people they won’t close all the work orders until the end of the month just that way they’re sure that they can always go back and do the complete into the opening and reinsert items on there under the services if you’re going to insert you can do their

service code let’s just say miscellaneous repairs actual hours is one hour or you can do it’s two hours hourly service wages you can change that if you want to what did you want to be it’s just for tracking purposes for yourself later on total class is fifty dollars so far you can put in your classification you have MS I codes if you want them there there you can change your labor rate you can change an employee code so what this means is instead of Steve working on Ellen we’re going to have Jim worker Tom work on that one just on this miscellaneous repair here and you can go back into after he’s done you can put in you and you can put actual hours worked on it now we can to keep track of their efficiency levels to if you want to do that and of course there is up here our tab there’s four notes in there too if you want to put special notes under there for tom is going to get that tonight on the side of the second shift and you’re not going to see them you can put note center for him you know check them check this and check that or whatever you want to do for it let’s just cancel that one other thing you can do when we’re in work orders is instead of work doing your own vehicle what you can do is cancel out of here so is that let’s go into a repair order we’re going to open a brand-new repair order from here we of course the asterisk we have to put in a vehicle number and we’ll pick up that unit number create the work order it comes down to employee codes will have Tom working girl I have Tom work on it put in two miles so let’s just say 540,000 now let’s go on into other information in other information we can put in it’s just we create an invoice for a outside customer so like one example is AISD 833 is working on something from a contractor the bus went down while they’re down in their area and they wanted to work on you can go in here and you can actually create an invoice to that customer here’s your customer code you know John’s delivery Chuck’s bakery you enter these up here under customer you can create customers up you can create customers up in that up in that field work requested by estimated downtime our estimate of how long you think it’s going to take you can put a reference number under or peel reference from the customer work order type great job guilty you can change those under your service codes you can change them in there actually in this one you’ll do it in your drop-down lesson we’ll go into that here in a second just like this one here there’s really under reasons there’s no drop down box there’s nothing in it that’s the same thing with a part 2 when you’re when you’re in the parts screen let’s say you’re adding apart and under your bin location primary bin location see right now there’s nothing in under prime primary bin location these are things that you need to set up in a very initial setup of the program and the reason that is is because everybody uses a different kind of a numbering system for the bin locations or also for their different codes so what we do kind of confusing the very beginning but it actually works out really for the best for the customer because you can customize your program the way you want it so on the reasons there’s nothing there so what we would do is you go up to your list up here in the top left you go to drop down list and in your drop down list you go to insert and the type and that one was work order reason so you click on reasons in here you can put any value you want you can put in there lost wipers so you click ok click close and it doesn’t show up yet because I gotta get out of the work order first to do it so let’s just avoid out of there I’ll go back in and I’ll show you how is still there now to go to work order time do it again other information and all of your reasons lost wipers are in there so that’s how you do your drop-down list and you’re going to you’re going to encounter that in the first couple months that you’re working with the program you’re going to encounter that the different drop-down lists may not have what you have in it or what you

need into it so just keep track of that and just keep adding it into your list in the very beginning of setting up a system what I always recommend is let’s do your do the bin location first get your bin location set up and marked on the actual shelves and then go into the system put all your your list under your drop-down list but all your bin locations into that you’ll have to do it on your vehicles also so when you’re into a oh let me finish this real quick so then you get in house location performed or outside vendor and you can do this for yourself too let’s say you have a bus and and we’re working on a free instead of you doing it on yourself you can do the outside vendor you can put in what Kota was or who was you know so local local international dealer and you can track what was done under work orders from there also so you can track your ins in house stuff and you can tractor you’re outside vendor stuff off of that all in creating voice for custom under your vehicles in your vehicles if you are going to be doing outside work for customers you just enter their vehicles in here under your vehicles and you just put in whatever unit numbers you want to have on our vehicle numbers but when you’re in a vehicle this is the other thing you want to do in a very beginning with your drop-down list there’s a lot of drop down less when it comes into vehicles across let’s start off the very beginning the vehicle info you have your vehicle number you can have that at whatever you want to be your meter reading fuel type primary site don’t worry about that one because that’s no one’s going to be on multiple locations your VIN number you know your year now that’s the other thing with these drop-down list goes 2006 that’s what this demo is from is 2006 so you may have to put in all the years subsequent to that the makes the soil got international involves so far so if you have freight liners or you have GMCs or you have thomas’s you know you’ll have to go into your drop-down less and lot to create those in there your model number all the way down through all this you’ll have to add these like it’s Guy de lannoy in Wisconsin you know we’re all minnesota so you’d have to put the Minnesota in under your drop-down list neater information you have your first meter which you can have your first meter be in your hours or you can have your second liter being your hours a lot of things now under warranty and things of that nature are all working off meter off your miles and working off your hours so you’ll probably want to be tracking both of them other info you know default customer if it’s if it’s customers vehicle here’s where you can put who it is employee codes so I’m not really sure why they do that purchase date your purchase price any special notes that you only use and on user fields you know let’s look let’s look at let’s just take this one is innings Apple so we got 2,200 national 8500 it’s white here’s the license plate number expiration sticker number meter information other information on it what they bought it for what the beginning meter was transmission engine these are all in drop-down list so you’ll have to go on your drop-down lists and make those up select and put them in there if that’s what you want to use any special notes or user fields in your engine serial number so just you know you can you can really hone in a lot on your on your actual vehicle on your vehicle to what you want to be able to do is depending on how your system is set up in your shop I’m sure you get you know like fuel reports or some kind of report either a daily or weekly or monthly that will give you basically the hours and miles on it what you can do is you can just come into just click on your board out click on your vehicle go down to batch meter update and this works the same principle as what your basic principle as what’s your physical inventory when you’re doing a physical in tour you just come right in here you hit beginning in editing and he put in your miles drop down to the next one drop down to the next just add in all your miles you can do it for the hour meter also you can just do it that way and run right down through all them when you’re done you stop the editing and save and finish we’re going to cancel what this does is this will give you it gives a system a complete update of what the meters are on all of them so it keeps track for your reminders for your preventive maintenance so we covered the batch meter update covered inserting one

you can change anything on it one change you can change all the different things whatever you want on that vehicle over here are your different modules from your vehicles you can go right straight to work order so if you want to create a work order for unit one is click on that highlight the unit hit a work order and there’s a work orders that are in for it and you can double-click on you can open up that work order right from there after a while you work order with this this is the easier way to do it because later on in life as you’ve been using your system for a year or two your work order list is going to get very long it’s going to get hard to be able to find your individual one so this is just a click or easier way to be able to find because if you know what’s on vehicle number six highlighted go to work orders and here’s all the work orders or snow work orders open for that one right now you can do ready to close ones you can look at the clothes on so here’s a close work order on that unit number oops so on our vehicles you have these different modules you have a fuel module you have the vehicle logs module and we have reported problems module licensing and permits tires and vehicle parts reference I’m not going to get too much into the vehicle logs and the licenses and the tires or the feel if you are looking at those kind of a modules we can always discuss that in the future that get very cumbersome and a little bit long to be trying to do on a one-hour webinar basically what the fuel module does is depending on what fuel system you have there is we have a question sorry let’s stop right here another question can you set up pmm miles and hours or just one or the other you can set up your PM the work off of either one or the other or both you can do it for go for either one of them so hopefully that will answer that question for you back to your fuel module the fuel module depending on like I said depending on what fuel system you’re running gasps boy I can’t even think of all the different ones that are out there some of them we have interfaces built in so with that fuel interface button up here you can through the through your computer system through your network you can do your met your meter updates your batch meter updates through your fuel interface then the fuel of course that tracks all the different she it’s a really hard program if you’re interested in that I’d rather handle that with you on a one-to-one basis so if that does interest you we can talk about that further on a one-to-one basis vehicle logs basically just logging worth going to was coming from trip dates this for a large company this is very cumbersome to do because it’s a lot of data entry for yourself licenses and permits basically just keeps track of all your different licenses and permits on to each individual vehicle which is school buses that’s not real hard because everything’s kind of standardized on that so the one that I do like on here is a report of problems this is the one that I showed you when we’re in the work in the work order and that little button it came up and said reported problems here you just go into reporter problems crap let’s say this unit number two I had a report a promise to highlight number two reporter problems and in here you can insert this is shows ones that are open right there currently open still but you can add ones into to you know who is reported by miles elves was reported the service code and description and here you can end when it’s done you can put in problem was corrected in completion date any other special most that you want to put into it report a problem is really nice if you stay on top of it it can get away from you though because you know we’re busy and there’s a lot of things that everyone has to do when they’re in the shops but that is that is all recommended if you have the people who do the data entry this was a really high recommended module to add into your system the other one that’s just kind of a really neat little thing to have into the system is called vehicle parts reference and what this will do is we’ve all had it you know you’re sitting there and go guy comes in and said hey I need this also part on this on this bus and what I haven’t seen it for a long time but I know we used so non solum souls bus three years ago you can do vehicle parts reference and you can pull up the individual vehicle crap keep doing that sorry everybody you can highlight that highlight that unit number vehicle parts reference and this will give you a list of everything ever any part ever put on that bus since you’ve had the system so it kind of

makes the kind I need to be able to go find an odd part that you put on years and years and years ago you know feels like a special bracket on one of the panels or something on one of the seeds or something to do with the flooring so you can be able to find them odd part that you use before so that I kind of treat that as kind of a special little module that I like to have people buy kind of sums it up for the vehicles staff is pretty straightforward like I said you got active inactive all you can’t delete one you also if if I know if Kelly’s working for you on kelly olsen quits you just click on kelly or like here let’s say Lisa rentals used to be a driver for you and now she’s not a driver she quit you just you can just Lisa Reynolds when and deactivate her and so in and if she comes back let’s say you know what happens with school bus drivers a lot does it’ll come back the next year you just go right back in click on her and activate and she’s activated back in your system again the physical certifications and licensing that all falls under that the employee service module haven’t really had anybody ever used it I had one customer use it and he didn’t really like how it worked it was really cumbersome there was a lot of things to be able to keep track of in it and it just didn’t work real well for him but we can handle then on an individual basis to after the after one or if you have questions about it next one is your vendors this is pretty straightforward you get the same active inactive you know want somebody in there you just deactivate them you want to insert again you have asterisks that you have to pay attention to those the only things that you actually really need just to get a set up you can add it more in later in as time permits you to do it service codes service codes if you look at this will expand this out a little bit we have a lot of service clothes that are already loaded into here you may not want all those service clothes in there most people don’t most people most companies already have service codes that they have set up that they’re familiar with the company is familiar with it all the mechanics are familiar with it what I would recommend and doing here is what i usually do when I help people set up their systems we go through here look to see if there’s anything that matches up with what they’re doing if there isn’t just basically just go through and deactivate every one of them just throw them in a d active file in an underactive basically just preet your own and then here you can just create your own one there’s notes to do it under each individual and if you want did you put in your service code of what you want what you the description of it what category want it standard hours p.m. service code and basically that’s all you really need to do and you can set up your own p.m. some people like the a service unlike be serviced I’m like see service set it up to what you want and what you will understand and everybody else in your company has already been working what makes it a lot easier it’s why this is such an easy program everything is custom Idol the most of it is all customizable to what you want it to look like and what you want it to be there’s just a few extra steps to be able to do to make it that way okay so we’ve covered pirates recovered repair orders work order less p.m schedules I don’t think we did cover p.m. schedule completely these are the PM schedules right now that we currently have on the demo discs that are set up but like I said you set these all up to what you want these will this will actually when you get your system setup will be blank there will be absolutely nothing in this field for you at all you’ll have to go through and set up your own deal same thing with your vehicles and everything else so basically if you’re doing one you want to do an insert vehicle number again service code interval let’s set one up let’s do number two the service code so so by seeing us when you do your preventive maintenance schedule you want to have your soul service code is done already we want to inspect a battery last performed next scheduled date what we want it to be so you put in you know let’s say if you want it done every two months and you put it in it at a two-month interval right there you can put special notes in underneath it also to when you start doing your your

preventive maintenance schedule it can get kind of confusing and can it cumbersome you know I’ll do you know what let me get into it right now when we go in and do a system if you’re interested in doing a system I can come out do a site survey with you basically sit down look at your inventory look at you bin locations first off if you don’t have a bin location or you’re not sure of actually how to set up an end location I can come out personally and help you do that and get your bin system set up to how it should be or how it will work for you how we’ve done it with other customers and see if that will work for you I come in basically in that period of time when we install the program and help you set up your service codes hope you set up your vehicles making sure everything is going well with that and also we can help you with setting up a PM schedule any other time through all you know that you have the program I’m always available to just give me a call be more than happy to help you over the phone I had this on my laptop in my car so I can pull the same program that you’ll be looking at and either help you over the phone or I can also come out to your location we can help you I can help you right at your location with your system so don’t feel too overwhelmed i know we covered a whole bunch of stuff here but just rest assured you have me that i’ve been working with this program now for 13 years so i’m pretty good at it i can help you go through and do a lot of this stuff so we’re going to close out of it out of that portion of right now now the reminder button but the last thing we really need to cover is the reminder button in the reports let’s say you go on a vacation next week and you want a list of everything for your mechanics to do while you’re gone you can hit your mind button and this will tell you p.m reminders reporter problems vehicle license if you don’t have any of these modules they will not come up under your program just the p.m. reminders will come up if you have report problems just those two tabs will come up the Salinas you’ll see what your vehicle number is your service code your next scheduled if it’s red that means that you’re you’re past the time it needs to be done and needs to be done immediately so what you can do is you can kind of print this out or you can use this is just a layout for you to write down what you would like your mechanics to do for that week that you’re gone and also just give you a heads up of what your next week maybe like even if you are going to be there it gets you so you can be able to schedule your time frames out for you so that’s basically what the reminders are it’s just basically there to help you with a rule click button you can print all maintenance do right here and you just go to it will print right out to you what needs to be done under each individual one and from here this is just a print screen this was just going to show you everything that you go to print and diamond connection will give you it’ll show it like this exactly it’s going to be prints so you don’t want a print it you don’t have to just click the X if you do want to print you just hit the print from that point if you want more than one page and do more one page right there and then actually hear you want to go to page two Richard page two sorry here’s your copies how many copies want on it so X out of that the next screen I’m going to show you which would be the last thing I want to show you is the reports the reports i would like to handle more on a one-to-one basis but we do have there is some canned reports i can’t really show you the reports too much because the demo doesn’t have a lot of history into it but through the reporting we can do vehicle last vehicle list with notes all vehicle information cost reports cost for miles you can print your your vendors Employee List customers on your inventory you can do your parts list parts on hand check-in so all these things are different reports and you can change let’s just do parts on here all records and this will show you all the records at that point of what you have on hand so that’s kind of what a report looks like like I showed you earlier you can do custom queries and you can get into changing different things of what did I have on hand from this date to this date things of that nature so we can we customize reports and I can work with individual people individual customers on setting up reports the way that you want to see them some parts are lowest parts checked in on a bike out of Parts checked in you get a you get a date range and on your date range you just click your from and you can go to by year end goal quickly by the month by the day so you can set up when you want that report what dates you want that report to show so let’s say this is a 2005 so let’s just go back to me first

2003 will it go these are all the parts from that date to this date of what was checked in on another note with that too is you can look at you know okay back in May I want to look at just just that may so we can change that all the way back to the looking just that may so may first through May 31st we can look at there was no records in that time so there’s no parts check in at that time but you can always go back into that the more the longer that you have a program running in your shop of course the more history you’re going to have there and the better your reports are going to be so in a very beginning reports i can aren’t going to ruby helpful because you don’t have a lot of history on it but the more that you have history the better the reports are actually come out for you formula savings reorder reports your reorder report if you click on that all records you want to use page breaks so kind of breaking apart if there’s many pages you know there’s no rector’s to process right now because we don’t have anything that needs to be reordered but if you did sorry about that but if you did it would show you the different part numbers how much you need to order and the different vendors that that you have them listed under your vendor list here so like that part this bulb your vendor on that bulb is local international dealer it would show up on your local international so all the parts per vendor will show up per vendor on that report for you let’s see prevent a maintenance service called less p.m scheduled maintenance do p.m. history you can print all those reports that will show everything for that you feel the feel will not show up if you don’t have that module the vehicle logs won’t show up if you don’t have that same with these other three to your reporter problems fuel vehicle logs license permits tires those are all those special modules talking about their add-ons those will not show up on this reports list because if you don’t have those modules so essentially I think we covered imma connected solutions it’s very simple program a lot of help available from myself and from our company and if you have any questions we can open it up for questions so thank you very much if you have any questions i can be reached at just call the dealership my personal cell phone number is seven six three two one three 3531 and I can answer any questions that you have on it if you’d like to have a demo on your on your computer at your work and play with it and kind of see what it’s going like on your system I can bring it out and install it on your system so please feel free to give me a call if you have any questions thank you for your time and enjoy the rest of your day thank you
